Hello again Dale, Thank you for creating another opportunity to continue to be inspired by those who love creating through embellishing, enriching and stitching. You really have already made a difference in my new "life after retirement". I never thought I'd be involved in online groups but it is so worthwhile when it supports such a creative outlet. Thanks again. Cheryl D
Hi Dale,
I received my books today...Thank You!! I am planning to take your online class in January so I can get some direction on what I'm doing with my machine. I would like to make some journal covers, but most of the instructions that I've seen so far include wet felting...is there a way to do it without wet felting and still come out with a nice product?
Also, I'm looking for supplies...like fibers, any suggestions?
Thanks for the welcome: I am slow at uploading what I do, but love to see how everybody uses the embellisher machine. I bought mine nearly 2 years ago and am still "playing",apart from one swop with a really professional textile artist, on Stitchin Fingers, which I enjoyed. Are there more challenges like that here?Really enjoyed the video clips when I logged on here.Gill
Hi, Thought you might like to see the blown goose egg I have worked on as an Easter Challenge from a friend. I glued tissue with gesso and sprinkled salt and then Quink inked it (Maggie Grey)and coloured it further with Alcohol Inks, embellished with gems and laid on a bed of organza leaves. Enjoy
Sorry my photo does not seem to have arrived. Nor my first message, telling you all I am new and my name is Gloria Miles and I live in south West France,.
