Yes it's an excellent idea, we learn so much from seeing other peoples work.

Hi Dale,

I'm so far behind in my lessons I thought I might join this group to keep me going after our lessons are done.

Its a great idea having this group, it should keep the momentum going. Like Deanna I am behind..checked tonight and I have only done 1 - 3 so need to do a big catch up, at least here there will be longer to go about it and more time to be inspired by all the wonderful work everyone is doing. Thank you Dale for setting this up, I must admit I haven't come across this type of format in a forum before...it may take a bit of getting used to.

Hi Dale, slowly getting to grips with my embellisher, just popping over to photo page to see what can be done with my new toy :-) Is this ok? I'm not on your course.

Hi Dale...

I just happened to find this site and I'm looking forward to learning how to use my new Viking Huskystar.

I haven't even pulled it out of the box just yet! I love the look of felted purses and I've knitted a couple of them, but it's not a natural for me and one of my clients had the most gorgeous purses I'd ever seen. When I asked her how long it took her to make it....she said about 3 hrs. and then explained that it was done on this machine.

Well, I finally went out and bought it....now I just have to figure out what to do with it!

Any suggestions for books or patterns? Next I'm going to get a sewing machine and at least with that I can sew a straight line!

Thanks so much!

Hi Dale Just found this blog (I am a bit slow) and wanted to thank you for the book Surface Tension which has given me such inspiration - the machine just sets me free to play like nothing else before - I am finding uses for all my supplies esp yarns and fabrics. What fun!
Thanks again
Andrea
